Itinerary

Experience the pristine beauty of Socotra! Sleep under Dragon Blood Trees, watch dolphins play in their natural waters, and explore white sand beaches all in 5 days. This all-inclusive tour is 5-days/4-nights and covers the highlights of the island. The price includes flights to and from Socotra from Abu Dhabi, Socotra visit visa, 4x4 car and driver, English speaking guide, all food/beverages, accommodation, all camping equipment, location fees, and memories for a lifetime!

Day One

We'll fly to Socotra International airport, then first stop is lunch with a lovely local family, before we go off to Arher beach! Arher beach is where high coastal cliffs merge with pristine white sand dunes just steps from the beach. After setting up camp, we will travel to the easternmost tip of the island where you will watch the waves of the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean meet. Watching the sunset from this spot is really spectacular. The day will be wrapped up with a dinner and camping back at the beach.

Day Two

An amazing second day will start before sunrise! A short hike will take you to the perfect place to see one of the most breathtaking sunrises of your life. Then you will go back to the campsite for breakfast and get to choose between two experiences: snorkel in Dihamri Marine Reserve or hike to Hoq cave. Dihamri Marine Reserve is a protected area in the northern coast of Socotra and one of the best places to snorkel on the island. A dive master is available on site to help you with renting equipment ($5) if you want to explore the deeper waters of the sea. You can easily spend hours in the water spotting countless species of marine life from sea turtles and octopuses to leopard eels, parrot fish and more.

Day Three

After having breakfast in the forest, we will leave the high central plateau behind and head to western Socotra. We will arrive first to an amazing village named Qalansiya, the second largest town on the island. From here, we will take a short journey to Detwah Lagoon, a protected area home to puffer fish, stingrays, starfish, and even turtles. You will have time to swim and explore the nearby white sand beach. We will have lunch in a beautiful cave with a local caveman who will then introduce us to the sweet and wonderful creatures of the lagoon.

Day Four

This morning is for sailing the waves! Your day will start with a boat ride to Shoab beach, a ride that takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. We will likely see large pods of dolphins playing in the waves on our way. You will then have plenty of time to swim at Shoab beach before returning to the camp for lunch and relaxing.

Day Five

We will bid you farewell with a delicious breakfast on the beach, then drive you to the airport for your flight home.
